They did, they're testing a milkshake and straw that maddie was supposedly drinking from. I dont know if they took the glasses from the couple though, thats a very good point actually. They probably did to be fair, but are waiting to see if maddies DNA is on the milkshake before they waste time and money checking the other glasses. If madelines DNA is found, i'm sure they can track the couple down, as the woman took a discription of the car they were driving and the last 3 letters of the numberplate. But if i'm honest i dont really understand it all, i cant help but think theres summat fishy in this that the public dont know...... x

well they did take something for testing who said they didnt take glasses?? and liss i agree with u 100% why didnt that woman grab the girl and make a sceen that would have given someone else the chance to make the call....even if it wasnt maddy she wouldnt have faced any charges as people would have understood what she had done, but saying that who knows how you would react if you saw maddy,

I'd say that they have but they're not giving too much away at the moment,. its so frustrating that the little girl probably was madeleine and if somebody had grabbed her or something then she would be home by now, i know it seems unlikely that if it was madeleine she'd be brought out in public but why if it was just innocent people with a daughter who looked like madeleine have they not come forward to say that was them, i really think it was madeleine.

Who knows maybe they have. We don't know what is going on behind scenes. There could be a lot more to this then meets the eye.

how do u know they didn't.. just because they didn't tell you about it.. in this information overload age we think that if they don't say anything then they didn't do it believe it or not the investigating authorities normally hold information back so that they are able to differentiate between the perpetrators and the nutters

well they might not have has glasses, i think this is the most likely reason, im so cross with that woman! i would have jumped over the tables and grabbed the child making a huge scene! evenif the police arrived and it wasnt her and i got charged for unruly behaviour, i wouldnt regret it because i just wouldnt take the chance that it could be her!

they took the straw and the bottle, that was reported on the ITN news last week. it didn't say when the results would be released though
