She or He who puts his self overboard plays only for his team or country is a true hero.
In a patriotic sense he who can dares to sacrifice while achieving a fruitful target is name a true or real hero.
Sir Bradman took Australian cricket to mighty levels and displayed heroism on-field with his batting abilities. So he was called so. Later on he became the property of the Game that is Cricket.

The real hero in a team is the one who single handedly wins matches for the team. I do not find any player capable of winning matches single handedly in the present day cricket as compared to Sir Donald Bradman

Well I believe Shane Warne is a real hero for all the wrong and right reasons especially in the sport of cricket because he showed how human he was despite his super star status.
Sir Donald Bradman on the other hand is rock solid and legendary because his prowess on the Field have never been emulated and those that have have happened in recent times thanks to advanced training and technology.

I think players like sir Donald Bradman and Viv Richards are the greats of the game cos Look at theirs score card You will be in for a shock.... Not only did they score at will that they accumulated loads of runs but the fact that they did it in a much lesser amount of matches played by say the dudes of today who keeps on playing series month after month year after year!!!!

I, Sher Khan is a cricket fan & support Ricky pointing bc, Pakistan will be great with an real hero captain.
Ricky Pointing bc, he played since 1995 at age 20 & played his first world cup 1996 - 2007 & won 3 out of 4 wrl cups.
