if we would want to join the ranks of the civilized world & the old democracies, we must at least be civilized & do what they have done & have been doing for hundreds of years.

we have only been a democracy for a few decades, so being a relatively young democracy have its up & down sides. if every filipino can just be as disciplined & as law abiding when they are at, say singapore or saudi arabia then the country would be a much better place.

we need to vote to choose a leader who will lead us.you are probably right in saying that they are corrupt but maybe not all. actually, if all the government officials, these include the administration and opposition, will have unity we will achieve the changes that we're aiming for.

vote so that we can choose the less evil ones..sometimes, the problem is not with the governement, it's the people's reaction to it..everytime there is a newly elected official, we find ways to pull them down, thus there is no room for improvement because we focus on trying to get rid of who's on the top..

You have to vote because if you don't, you dienfranchise yourself - and have no right to complain when others elect the same old crooks that have been around since forever.

just need to use your vote wisely..no more actors, in experienced widowers, singers etc....some countries need dictatorships as the only way to control rampant corruption such as the Philippines government. That way there is only one hand in the cookie jar instead of thousands..Marcos???

We vote to exercise our freedom to elect the leaders that will lead our country into prosperity. Unfortunately, those who are really deserving to win have no money to support their candidacy..it still boils down to money..and I know why Trillanes wins.

Ask me why..Ü

after having all the people power and the boycotting, what happens next? what do you want to do then? we can't do the rallying forever. people are always unsatisfied so it'll just be a viscious cycle.
