i ve seen lately (ElBeliatcho) and (Keda Reda)
the first sucked
for the second one, i can say, with clear conscience, that it's the best arabic movie i have ever watched since decades..

To Rana Ranoush:
let me give you my critics:
EL Beliatcho first 20 minutes i was amazed, i thought "the opening scenes are great" but after a while, the script get lousy and Haytham Ahmad Zaki, as much as i love his father, and i really watched the movie as a tribute to his father's soul, but he is still not very good as an actor. Fathy AbdelWahab was the best thing in the movie. The story is not very convincing and the end of the movie is so unconvincing.
As for Keda Reda:
Yes, the story of 3 characters with the same actor seems very consumed. BUT, apart from this, the film is hilarious, the story is very good, there is several turns of events that you won't see coming at all (and that's very rare in Arabic movies). The acting crew with no exception was awesome. The script was great. The directing and Camera was above Egyptian norms.
In short: Watch it Rana and then tell me what you think..ok? i m curious to know your opinion after you watch it..deal?

From the Arabic movies i saw: Taymour&Shafi2a and Morgan A. Morgan. I liked both of them. It was the first time since a very long time to c a movie for Elsa2a and like it. As for Morgan it made me laugh for the rest of the day as usual when i c any of Elza3eem's movies.
About English movies: last night i saw Tom Hanks' The Green Mile which i think is one of the best movies of him beside Forrest Gump. I also watched: TMNT, Blades of Glory (liked it more than Talladega Nights), Norbit (didnt know that the fat lady was also Eddie Murphy until the end of the movie), Firehouse Dog (nice family movie), I think i love my wife ( so funny but rated R as most of Chris Rock).

I saw 'Rescue Dawn' last week and I have to say I was very disappointed... Christian Bale is the reason I went to see that movie, but it really sucked! Lame green screen effects, lame acting (on everyones part!), very lame directing and above all a very weak story!! I don't know why people loved it so much. really, are the critics just trying to kiss *** to a movie director veteran?

I just watched El Dorado and Tombstone on TV.

I think it was called Tower Heist with Ben Stiller. Just an OK movie, but Eddie Murphy makes me laugh.
