I think those celebs that were raised right, know better.
Paris Hilton was NOT raised right and I think SHE believes her bahavior is keeping her "popular". Now she's selling her home to fight, yet again, the threat of bankruptcy.

Joe Montana (Keeping this w/in the football venue) really straightened out and got right before retiring. I think he knew he had a problem and set about to correct it without letting it slip into his public life.

Drew Barrymore really pulled herself together well.

I believe that some celebrities don't have a clue of what real life is about. They love attention and when things don't go their way they are like children. They are addicted to seeing themselves in the paper and magazines. It is like a drug to them. Some of them never were kids or teenagers....like Britney.

They live in a pertend world where for a period of time they thrive on being wonderful. And they have people who solve their problems. They feel entitled and above the law. They have so much money that they lose sight of what is really important.

To have energy to always be up, they use drugs. Then they have to sleep. Then they are disappointed when the press says something bad about them or they don't get the part they wanted. They self view is ascrew.

They have major idenity crissis.

There are some that do well. Balance their lives and not need validation from the public. Jody Foster comes to mind.
