Who can tell me what I have to do, to watch Videoclips, as from TNT. TBS and so on ? Microsoft and hp support gave me very wrong information - it didn't work with VISTA.

Thanks a lot - TV is my lifeline ...

you need whatever software the clip uses to run, i.e. windows media player, quicktime, divx, flash, realplayer, etc.

Just checked TBS and watched the Bill Engvall clips. One thing to check is if you have Norton as the firewall. It may be doing you a favor and blocking video. You will have to go into the command panel and tell it to allow TNT and TBS. If some other firewall, check the settings for allowed programs. There is a newer free media player for Vista on their web site.

It looksl ike TNT.tv uses Adobe Flash Player and Windows Media Player in conjunction. Flash is used to load WMP, so try getting Flash Player if you do not already have it.

It sounds like you have a CODEC problem.

Search out AceMegaCodecPack, its like a 50MB download, but should defiantly sort out your problem.

I'm almost 100% sure of this.

Vista is still full of bugs. I'm not planning on upgrading to it for a year or so! XP is still well supported and works well so why fix it if it ain't broken!
