Angat Dam is at a critically low level. The farms in Nothern Luzon are in danger of not being supplied irrigation, if the problem persists. We need a lot of rain for several days to normalize.

PT, yes a typhoon just passed Luzon and another one is coming. But they all came in rather late. Normally, we would have had several typhoons by this time of the year. In fact, Angat Dam, after the rains, moved just a few cms up. It will take 9 more meters to bring this up to the "critical level" - - - we are now below critical. Presently, the water level is at 171.3 meters. Normal critical (oxymoron) is 180 meters. Ideal is 200 meters.
