Obviously has to be the first one:
- there's no such thing as a 2d shell, so the third is impossible; also, K being a group I metal should have an s1 outermost shell.
- 2s fills before 2p and in any case only three electrons would make it Li, not K.

Figure out which noble gas it is closest to, and remember there are 8 valence electrons. You can do simple arithmatic from there, I believe in you!
