But Y!A doesn't even specify in their community guidelines how many violation notices can lead to a suspension of an account.

My question is: With a suspension of your account, does that include a suspension of your Yahoo! email account?

Being suspended can lead to the deletion of any/all accounts with YA and this is clearly stated in Community Guidelines so why risk this? Many have lost YA accounts over 1 year old w/ lots of points recently.

I think it does, but not sure. This question about not being informed why you get violation or how many it takes to be suspended has been asked by many including myself. There is no answer to those questions.

Hopefully if people start complaining enough they will do something about it or they will start losing reputable users and trolls will take over like a plague.

Today, we are more worried about hurting someone's feelings instead of teaching the truth. And others are offended when the truth goes against their "beliefs" and "traditions". Jesus was not afraid to preach the truth and neither were the apostles. The early Christians were persecuted, killed and thrown in jail for teaching the truth all because other people disagreed with them and the scriptures. The same holds true on Yahoo. You can use scripture and teach the truth all you want, but the minute someone is offended, they cry "foul". However, if you teach what the Bible teaches, they are not disagreeing with you, they are disagreeing with the Word of God. The Bible is not "politically correct" and those that teach the truth do not need to be "politically correct" either. If you teach the truth with love and understanding, you have done your job. If you are not accepted for teaching the truth, then it is not you who has a problem. "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" 2 Timothy 3:16

No, you only have to "offend" someone to have a negative affect on your yahoo answers account. As long as you dont say anything bad about a religious groups (christians or muslims) you'll be fine. On your Yahoo email account nothing you do will ever get it deleted. Yahoo allows complete "freedom of speech" in their mail system. so they say.

It does not suspend your email account. In fact, you can still thumbs up and star questions even though you're suspended. I got my last account suspended for reasons unknown.
