Guilty in indulging in TOO much shopping but NOT guilty in buying knock-offs. The real deal is always of better quality albeit more expensive. And then there's always the PAYLESS stores...same styles but at greatly discounted prices. The trick is to let the "admiring public" get used to you wearing the brand names and so on the rare occasions you wear the cheapos, none would ever know. As jan-na said, it's how you carry yourself.

In the Philippines, yes. Just once... Last year I was so amazed to find a very nice pair of Levi's skinny jeans that looks exactly like the original and it's soooooo affordable! dang! so I bought it! lol I wear it during our travel to those islands since people back there will not know if I'm wearing the original one or not and I don't have to worry if I lost it or ruin it from island hoppings.
But I don't have any intentions on wearing it outside the Philippines coz I don't want to get in trouble with the real Levi's fans and never have any intentions to buy the fake bags or shoes coz I prefer the original ones due to the quality in their materials than buying the fake ones just for the sake of its brand name.

Not guilty.
It's either I use the originals, or use cheaper brands. I think wearing those fake things is a violation of the original maker's creativity, and the pirated stuff are just plain law violations. Would rather not be apprehended in an airport. ^_^

No, I don't like to brag the brand unless it's real... and I don't buy the brand names...
What's the point of carrying fake Louis Vuitton or Fendi bag (which you can see adhessive getting brown and the stritches are getting loose) , if i can carry a guess bag with lots of cash... lols!

I used to buy fake watches and T-shirts, but got bored of it.
The fancy look isn't me anyway, so ...
I have never heard of any tourist bringing a few fake Lacostes or Rolexes home have been stopped. Authorities try to hit hard on importers who - for example - import fake Levis jeans by the containerload.

I have this unwritten rule that when it comes to clothing, fake or bootlegged shirts (t-shirts, polo shirts with buttons, etc.) are OK.
But it's a big NO-WAY when talking buying pants, suits and especially shoes.
I only buy fake clothing when it is made so well, that you really have to see the insides of the garment to determine it's authenticity.

i dont.
for back in the day, i went to school with rich spoiled brats whos parents can afford to buy them the real thing, a place where you cannot wear a fake & not get insulted until your deathbed.
& maybe because i was also able to afford branded merchandise if not the cheaper brand names.

you know, I don't care about the brand.. I care about the quality of the product. Nowadays, those things are very expensive. Its like, "ano naman kung may tatak/ pangalan ung gamit mo, eh kung meron namang mas maganda na mura, bakit hindi?, I do buy in divisoria, the products there are also good and affordable.

Never, one of the reason I buy high end purses is that they last long. I used to buy purses for $50 but they don't last so I end up buying more and costing me more. So one day I decided to buy high end brand and now I couldn't go back to the inexpensive purses.
