look in your local drug store. they have like scare removers. They really don't remove it but it makes it less and i mean it's like you can't even see it anymore. oh there's one product named Prefer on that's made to remove scars!! hope that helped!!

I recall during my childhood years that my girl cousins keep this "wonder lotion" called "sebo de macho" (so this was in the Philippines so I don't know if this product is available elsewhere or available at all today).

But I guess there would be some other creams or lotions under different brands that do the same trick.

For deeper scars, I believe the modern dermatologists also resort to high tech laser scar removers...

Check out your local dermatologist trying any over the counter drug or cream, might result to allergies or further skin discolouration...I am sure the doctor would have the appropriate solution.

You do not say the nature of the tumour. or how long ago the operation was
If the scar is raised to half an inch-it may be what is known as keloid-a normal "over-healing" which can reduce in size with time.certain racial groups are more prone to keloid formation.

If it is an old scar it may be possible for it to be "revised"-where old scar tissue is excised and a neater scar made.

Thank you for further details-it is too soon to say what the scar will be like eventually.please be patient

Scars definitely fade with time--I have a long surgical scar from 8 years ago that used to be puffy and red, now it's just a pale line. I've heard that dermabrasion can be done on some scars to smooth them out. After my surgery I used those silicone sheets to speed healing and smooth the scar out, I can't say that's why it healed so well, but it's worth a try.

plastic or cosmetic surgery can easily take care of the problem. as you are considering modeling(nude), good idea to get it done fast along with removal of any other minor blemishes!!!!!!!!!!
