Here are sources for you:

- Some counties put the ownership info online. Go the county assessor's website.

- go to the city or county assessor's office

- ask a real estate agent to look it up. We subscribe to computer services that provide that information to us.

- ask a title/escrow company to look it up. They subscribe to the same services.

- ask the management company. It's not usually a big secret who owns it.

Most county taxing authorities are on-line now days and you can almost always find the owners of real property by searching the appraisal district records. Most real estate companies who manage a complex will have their signs posted somewhere at the entrance of the property, or just call the leasing office and ask what company manages it. Best of luck.

go to the city and pull the title on the property. There might even be a telephone number, but you will at least know who owns the property.
