she burned me pretty bad back then, under the instrusction of her mom, of course. but i still love her so much it hurts even after 10 years. she called me about a year ago to tell me how sorry she was to have done the things she'd done to me and all i could do was try to win her back by bragging about some lamo stuff right off the top. blew it. god, i can't seem to move on! there will never be another her. reality sucks though and i know we have a snowballs chance, but the whole thing has blown my game off like artillary, how do recover from this tailspin that seems to go on forever? i know she still loves me but she feels that she burned me so hard that the damage is permenant, and she might be right, but what am i to do with that!? i've been like a schoolboy with the girls ever since. i just put up this wall as soon as i've made contact. i can't seem to beat it. what can i do?

bro, shes "the one", you go after her with all of you strength, all of your heart, all of your mind, all of your soul, with every fiber and cell within you, and you shall have her. i had the same situation, and after relentlessness, dedication, perserverance, and conviction, i won her heart and now we are married. you could use some help. im here if you want it. ive been there. dont let it go another second, or you could lose it. im rooting for you.

How hard that must be! I would seriously try your luck again with her, maybe you two are meant to be! If you know how to contact her, write her a letter saying how you feel. Dont be afraid to tell her that you still love her and want her back, that you were just bragging when she called, etc. What is the worst thing that can happen. Take a chance, a leap of faith! You never know where it may lead. Good Luck! She must be one amazing person for you to still love her after so long.

I have a friend that has been in love with the same woman for over 10 years. He found another love not that long ago and now they are planning their wedding. Love hurts, but you have to decide when it has hurt you enough. If you had the love to give 10 years ago, then i'll bet you still have it to give now. Just call her and tell her how you feel, if she doesn't respond the way you hope then it's time to move on.

10 years you have spent living with memories of something that can NEVER ever be again??? WHAT A WASTE!!!

Look, living in the past is keeping you from being here in the now, and destroys all chances of having a decent future. You CANNOT have ANY relationships now because YOU ARE NOT HERE NOW. You are somewhere (in the past) thinking about things you cannot change or fix. They are DONE, OVER, and need to be GONE.

LEARN from the mistakes and MOVE FORWARD!!!! LET IT GO!!! Do NOT waste your LIFE somewhere that is nowhere!!

Go get her if you really think she has changed. Be insistant. If you love somebody that much...you have to go for it.
Your question has my mind playing Paul Simon's song "still crazy after all these years" lol...

You are going to have to go on with your life. Quit looking back and look ahead. Good Luck

You really need to stop looking for excuses to justify her behavior. She does not love you. There is nothing you can do about it. Do not forgive her! She does not deserve your forgiveness.
