That's normal. Use the diaper cream, cornstarch can take away the pain from the burn some...tylenol & be sure not to use wipes, they can burn. When mine would get a rash during teething I would use wet paper towels.

Runny nose is also common. :( It will be over in a couple months, hang in there!

I had that same problem with both of my kids. When they would teeth, they would poop ALOT and get a bad rash. I used Desitin, the real stuff, not the creamy, it is the best stuff because it has 40% zinc oxide while the others have far less. And it would clear the rash up overnight. If the babies rash continues for over a week though, it might be a yeast infection. Both of my kids got them and all you have to do to treat a yeast infection in babies, is buy Lotrimon (athlete's foot cream) and put on the area twice a day, but put on a thin layer and within about 3 days it should clear up.

I used bag balm and that was awesome, it comes in a green square tin, and you can get it at wal mart. I also used butt paste....that is the actual name. It's a little tube like desitin...it didn't seem to burn and was some pretty good stuff....but try cornstarch, that may help as well, and won't burn. Use sensative, fragrance free wipes...the others will burn his little bum and hurt him. It's so normal for them to do this while teething, my babies bum stayed red it seemed like the whole time!! If you have the patience and don't mind a little laundry, use the training underwear in between changings and it lets him air out a litttle, it helped with one of mine. Poor little guy. GOod luck and God Bless.

How I hated the teething pooies, Try using butt paste (yeah that's the actual name) you can find it at Wal Mart and other major stores. Another thing I used which works really well is make some oat meal and put it in the fridge until its cool then before they go to bed put it on there bottom and let them sleep with it on it will pull all of the toxins out of there skin. Works on the first night almost everytime.

Teething is tough! It is provided in many categories looking on your infant. in many cases while a toddler teethes, they desire to chew on something in sight, their gums would be somewhat swollen and warm to touch. alongside with teething can come earaches, fevers, runny nostril, and many crying! i think for you, how I dont omit those days lol. he's on the wonderful suited age to start cutting enamel. in many cases while the 1st ones are available in it extremely is the appropriate 2, that's in my adventure with my daughter, the worst and maximum painful! while they injury for the time of the gums, the soreness will ease and your toddler will sleep greater and be much less cranky for you. attempt freezing apples or an identical fruit then giving them to him next time he cries for no reason, if he calms down odds are its teething. different issues you need to use to alleviate the soreness are chilly wascloths, popcicles, toddler orajel, and homedics teething pills, they are at walgreens and are available in a small sq. bottle. They worked wonders for my daughter, they are all organic, yet magically seem to artwork extremely rapid on the soreness. i'm hoping I easily have helped a splash, teething might properly be so problematic! each toddler is distinctive, yet while none of those concepts artwork for you, then I recommend taking him to his pediatrician. Get some relax mom, after the 1st few enamel, it will be a breeze!

Awwww poor little man! I found zinc and castor oil cream best - no strange ingredients in it - unlike some of the nappy creams sold in chemists. Just literally plaster it on!
