Everything has to be so "nice" these days. No one can say anything anymore because it always offend someone. We talk about TOLERANCE and yet we don't show it in practice.
TOLERANCE and ACCEPTANCE - there is a difference. I will give an example....(ok people - this IS an example - not necessarily MY opnion ok?)
A shop owner might not ACCEPT homosexuality but he can exercise TOLERANCE so that he will serve a gay person shoping there with the same courtesy he shows to every other shoppers.
Humour is another thing. We can not tell anymore jokes because they will offend someone. We need to be able to laugh ot ourselves a little. That is why Australia is still good with this (but it might change if we follow everything the USA does) We can still poke fun at different cultures here - as long as it is in good taste.
Here something to end with - a joke:
How weak are kids with muscular dystrophy? They are so weak that they REALLY can't fight their way out of a wet paper bag.
And before you go and report me or call me bigot. This joke was TOLD TO ME by a bunch of kids who have muscular dystrophy when I was with them on a camp.

What offends me the most is when any body decides to flip the birdie and plays around with his/her high beam lights so that one can get into an accident because his/her nasty roadside behaviour in which the police must stop this from happening again to anybody else.....
