I went to an amusement park on Saturday, and watched a gay couple attack an elderly woman. These two guys were being inappropriate. They were kissing and groping each other in line. If they had been a male and female couple, what they were doing would still have been wrong. Save the heavy petting, and the grinding for the bed room.

When this elderly woman asked them to calm down because there were children in line, they spit on her, threatened to hit her, and called her a B***H. The line was full of adults and no one said anything about what was going on. Would you have said something, and If so what

See, I'm not one who would stand by and let that kind of crap fly. I'd have sent one of my podlings off to find a security person and then gotten in their faces - but specifically I would have gotten between them and the old woman.

The really interesting part would come when my spouse would come stand next to me - he has a way of standing that many consider intimidating. Big grin!

Basically, and I don't know what words exactly I would use, but the gist of it would be that they need to take their sex act on the road and grow up and be real men - because real men don't threaten people older and weaker than themselves.

But then, I've always been the one to step in the way when others were threatened and dared the bullies to hit me. cause then I'd get to hit back, and I will fight irty - the only thing they'd be grinding the rest of the day would be an ice pack. yeah, I'd probably tell them that too.

Oh, and their sexual preference means nothing to me - bullies get treated like bullies - period.

Again regardless of gay/straight, if what they were doing should be saved for the bedroom and made people feel uncomfortable, then that woman had every right to ask them to calm down. People may not have stepped in for fear of being called homophobic, or of the guys making similar threats toward them. I wouldn't confront them in person, but calling security would be a plan if it escalated at all.

Just because someone is gay doesn't mean their not also a jerk. These two were way off base, and showed incredable disrespect, to take it to the next level and hurt someone, well...I hope they get hit with an assault charge.

As you pointed out, gay or straight, this behavior was inapporpriate, and that's the real issue. I would have definitely said something to them, even if was, "Yo, Dudes, get a room, kay?"

Yes I would have told them they were out of line. Not for the PDA that is an entirely different issue. But disrespect of the elderly is something I will not tolerate.

I would have spoke up, they cannot infringe upon the rights of others, and to see them attack an elderly woman would have been enough to get me off of commiting a hate crime.

I'm not the person that says anything, just observes and stays 10 metres away from a bad situation.
I'm sure there would be someone who would say something.
and what they were doing was definatly OUT OF LINE!

I probably wouldn't say anything at first, because I am kind of shy, but once they started acting like that towards the lady I would speak up and come to her defense.

I totally agree with you. Gay or Straight, heavy PDAs are annoying. It wasn't appropriate to do in front of children.
