He may simply have colic. That's when they get bad gas & it hurts, so they cry. After feeding be sure to get some big burps out of him (pat or rub him on the back gently but firmly, you can do this by laying him on your thighs or against your chest) - then try rubbing his belly. See if you get some little farts.

See if it's worse after meals.

Also some babies w/ colic enjoy pressure against their tummy, so holding him in the football hold (head supported of course) or laying him belly down on your lap could help.

Unfortunatley he should lay on his back for sleep though, it's safest (SIDS) - but it may be uncomfortable for him if he is colicky.

In the meantime, call the doc & just ask for recommendations to help w/ colic & see what they say, you may not need to go in before his regular checkup.

I may have over explained but I just wanted to give a clear, precise answer.

It is normal for this to happen. MY son had it to. They can even get really plugged up. Try little noses saline spray. You can use it as often as you like, it has no medicine in it:) Your baby's nasil passage is SO small and she is just really getting used to all teh allergens around her. Hear The expression "snot nosed brat"? It applies here:) Not that she is a brat.unless If the boogers become congestion and are green when you suction, she is fine. If they are green have her looked at for RSV. Babies survive this too. She is heathy and striving fine. If she didnt get nasal problems like thes for the first couple of years I would be worried. Use a Vicks or any brand Cool vapor moisterizer. The cool one and hot one are the same, Pediatricians reccomend cool moisture to avoid burns. YOu will use this often for the first 2 years of life. If you dont have one yet take he into a steamy bathroom for a couple minutes, then suctions her out:) Good luck, it will pass. She is getting older ans more active So she will sleep less and less as she gets older. My son is 4 months and he takes 2 short naps and plays all day. Congrats on your little angel. she could have colick. When she cries place her on her stomach to help with gas. Try mylicon drops for gas. If you breast feed it could be something you are eating that she is sensitive to, or it could be a milk protien allergy to the formula. Saddle, rock, soothe. I found that lighly rubbing my sons ear lightly calmed him down(right over the hole. It canm be very frusterating, Hang in there it will pass.

So he hasn't had his shots yet then and if your family is sick he could of caught the cold i would watch he's temp. You could always call a nurse or just take him to the ER. People might tell you to give him Tylenol but with him still young i wouldn't cause i don't know the weight of your baby and i wouldn't want to say how much your baby can take.

Just take the baby to quick care, let them check him out. Otherwise, try to give him the drop for gas (sold overcounter), it does help if he is colic . Sorry I forgot the name, but the medicine bottle is small and expensive, about $12 .

maybe the baby just needs the diaper to be changed or something else.the comunicate tru crying so you have to pay attention to them very closely.. The best you could do is observe the baby if he develops any symtoms. Otherwise maybe you should settle down to your new role as a parent.

If his nose is running, maybe he has a headache with the cold, or perhaps his throat hurts?? If he's not running a temperature or not feeding properly, I wouldn't wait until the 28th! So long as you know he's ok with it, you could give him a dose of baby paracetamol (Calpol etc).

your baby may be colic or has more serious problem. If you told the doctor that the baby is constantly crying, you should be referred to ER instead.

babies cry.

Make sure he is comfortable, not too hot or cold, fed, dry and loved. You are in prime time for colic.
