Hi,
I live in the UK so few people are allowed to own guns anyway. I'm not sure of the laws where you are but personally I can't see why people (other than perhaps farmers, soldiers, police-men and the like) should want or need guns. Allowing a criminal to won a gun sounds irresponsible to me.

Criminals are not allowed to own guns. But, they get a hold of them on the black market.

I guess you would have to define criminal...what your definition is.
In my book it's a person who has committed a grave offense against morality and the laws of our society.
Should we allow that person to own/have in his possession, a gun? Not in my book.

Known criminals should be in prison, or executed. Subtract the gun, just add the electric chair, and pronto.

guns dont kill people, people kill people. it depends on the nature of the crime, but if someones wants to get a hold of a gun they will find a way, legally or otherwise

Yes, I truly feel once you have paid for your crime and have moved forward with your life you should be able to have the same rights as others. If you are paying taxes and following the laws, then why shouldnt you
