The producer gets paid more because the music is just as important as the lyrics.
Writing lyrics and creating the music is important to the whole project.
If the track is wack, the whole song don't stand a chance.
BUT, if the artist writes the lyrics, AND sang the song, he will get PAID.
Writing will always get you paid more.
A movie or a commercial can use the instrumental to set a certain mood for their theme.
A movie or commercial can pic a certain part of a song because the lyrics are saying what the theme is trying to portray.
They can get ANYONE to sing it, and the artist will have NO say because that person does not OWN any part of the song.
Once a producer becomes more "in demand" like Dr. Dre or Timbalin, he can charge as much as, shoot 10,000 for one song! That's what TLC was complaining about with their producer. (forgot his name, Chili's ex)
:~)

it all depends. If its some broke no name rapper with a Timbaland beat, the producer will get more. If its a broke no name producer with a hot beat and a big name rapper raps, then the rapper will get more.
Producer's sell their beats or lease their beats depending on the situation. It is cheaper to lease a beat rather than buy one.
However, if you sell a rapper a beat for $5000 and the song ends up selling 5 million records, the producer is stuck with 5000 while the rapper is taking in money from every album sold. However, if you lease the beat, you might be able to strike a deal where you get a percentage or at least the rights to use the beat again.
Overall, the rapper makes more unless you are one of the top 5 producers in the game.

Production usually makes good money & is more of a steady paycheck than an artist. They get paid for recording & producing music for people who may or may not become a hit. In either case, they get paid & record sales have little to no effect on their income (unless they have a hand in the distribution or own the record label the artist is on).
Artists sometimes have a record deal which signs them on for X-amount of albums over a certain period of time. They'll get paid here & then a percentage of record sales. Sometimes they'll get a cut from a collaboration & then of course shows & appearances. Artists however make it or break it depending on popularity. There's no guarantee how popular your stuff will be or how much in demand you yourself will be in - so it's a bit of a gamble.
So it comes down to this: Artists can earn quite alot of money depending on how good of a deal they get and how well the public receives them.
Producers get paid by the artists for music production and/or recording them from the start. Sometime's they'll make it big
when an artist they worked with makes a hit - then suddenly they're in demand (like the Timbalands & Dr/ Dre's of the industry). For them most part tho, they just get paid for doing the music & recording for the artist.

Producer, if you're a big time producer. Artists have to pay for services and only make seven cents on each album sold. The rest goes to the producers and the company owner.

Producers...they get upfront money for the track and royalties(points)...Artist get front money from the record company but they have to pay it back in record sells. An artist can make more if they write their own songs...But most artist dont. Artist have to relie on good contract negoiating in order to actually get paid plus their album has to sell if they are with a big label...Small indie labels pay more to artist, but their budgets are smaller...So it all depends. Artist recieve budgets from their label and they have to pay it back in record sells...most artist dont see money until the following year...Until then they have tomake most of their money doing shows and/or tours. Most artist make the mistake of spending their budget money on themselves not realizing that its a loan. ala TLC and LL Cool J at one point in his early career. These cats had hit records but were broke.
But a producer is gonna get his/her money regardless if the album sells or not. Also if the producer is a hit maker they get plenty of work and can charge more for their beats. Production deals...publishing etc.

Not sure i think it really depends of how popular and or how good they are. Like if doc dre worked with some nobody then doc wud probly get more but if Jay-Z wirked with a relitive nobody producer then Jay-Z wud obvs get more. But also artists can jusy buy beats and then they dont need a producer if they have the beat, thus they get the mony!

It's very possible to learn to sing well. You just need to know the right methods. Learn here https://tr.im/xPwz2
Singing teachers will cost money and can be expensive so they're not for everyone. Singing can be learned so it's not an "either you have it or you don't" kind of thing.
Whether you sound like crap or you're decent, I recommend this singing course. It's one of the best methods to learn to sing well in a short amount of time. It's all about using efficient techniques that work.
