For the longest time I only used Margarine, but over the past year I've switched to butter. While I can't say for sure that I notice any difference in the taste, I won't for the life of me even go near margarine now. I'm a little spoiled I guess. I'm too good for margarine now :)

"Oh, what is this? Margarine - Heavens! My goodness, how dare you even assume that I...Oh my word! Take it away, just take it away!"

Yes. Margarine tastes like grease because it is made with oil. Butter is made with milk. I can definitely tell the difference.

Margarine is a bit saltier than butter. Both are good.

Way better, plus it's real food! Can't really tell what margarine is.

absolutely. butter is heavy on the salt. better
flavor and melts good on toast. margarine just
clumps and just sits there. bland taste. yuck.

YES!! I hate margarine!! It is plain gross, all kinds. Butter is better.

Oh hell yes. Butter is heads and tails better than margerine. Margerine is only a few molecules removed from being plastic. Did you know that?

depends on the brand of the butter resp.margarine. These days one can hardly differentiate.
