i live in a small town, not exactly in the country but i can see a field on 3 sides of my house......i was wonderin if i was ok if a guy who doesnt live on a farm could wear a cowboy hat......like a party hat......one i would wear when i drink and party??? cuz the ladies like it and some say i look good i cowboy hats....so please help!

go ahead and wear one. i don't live on a farm and i wear one- and i have cowboy boots and belts and buckles too... i call myself country (i'm from the country) not a cowgirl...
anyone who says you shouldn't bcse you aren't a "cowboy"... does that mean they saying that you can't wear a ball cap bcse you aren't on a baseball team, or wear a sports jersey bcse you aren't on that team....

Ok this is coming from a cowgirl so this is how I see it about people wearing cowboy hats. If you don't live on a farm and don't rodeo that is cool but if you are just wearing the hat to impress the ladies and not wearing it to show you are a cowboy and country boy at heart I don't think its cool. People will think you are a poser or what we call them where I live "Ricky Rodeo" If your not a cowboy at heart you shouldn't wear one.....
