Christ, there are so many. One of the reasons I love The Beatles is because of their lyrics. They're never overly complicated or pretentious but they aren't patronising either. Their songs are universally relate-able and I think that's the reason so many people still love them today.
Just one of my favourites:
"Your day breaks, your mind aches
You find that all her words of kindness linger on
When she no longer needs you"
from "For No One"
Not an obvious choice, but that particular lyric always gets me.
