Well if you watch tv, or get on the computer at night time... you make it even worse...

The best thing to do is to go to sleep about 9 or 10 every night for about a month... even if you dont go to sleep right away... just lay there... this trains your mind so that you dont need the computer, or tv, or anything to entertain yourself before you go to sleep...

maybe listen to about 10 minutes of the most boring talk show you can find...
and force yourself to listen to it for 10 more minutes, and so on until you get tired of it... and go to sleep...

Take a warm bath before bed. I have read that milk and turkey have natural things in them to relax you and make you sleepy. Read before going to sleep. Make sure you are not hungry before you go to bed because that will keep you up. I have read there shouldn't be any distractions in the bedroom such as a computer or a TV but when I had my TV in my bedroom I actually slept better. I would set it to turn itself off in a hour and I would be asleep before then. You can also take 5-HTP or Melatonin to help aid you in sleep. Both are found over the counter at the drugstore.
