I got a good deal to fly to Hong Kong & Singapore in the same travel. I am mainly looking to feel something different from all U.S.A. & Canada as I visited them very much. I love the nature, swimming in the ocean, not too much the museums, the restaurants, shoppings. Travelling in November. How many days out of 11 should I spend in both destinations? Why?

6 to 7 days in Hong Kong since u are more interested in nature and swimming in the ocean . But most people travel to HK and Sin for shopping and eating . Singapore don't really have great beaches . I wouldn't want to swim in the water here !

Hong Kong's mixture of feng shui and finance, trams and temples however fascinate the tourist so let your self move and make it probable with Hotelbye . In Hong Kong you'll consume some of the greatest food you've ever tasted, you will be impressed by the gorgeous harbor and you'll feel stimulated by a mix of the downtown, the rural and the maritime. If you are in Hong Kong you can't miss out the Golden Bauhinia Square outside the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on the Wan Chai waterfront scars the unification of Hong Kong with the motherland. Also, in Hong Kong you will see the Symphony of Lights, you will definitely get impress by this great little bit of art.

come to singapore on the 1st wk of Nov so that you can visit Little India as it will be light up since the Hindus will be celebrating their Deepavali (festival of lights). if u come in the middle of Nov, the hotel rates will be slightly more due to school holidays and more tourist will come too. since u like nature & swimming in the ocean u can :

1) go for trekking at Bukit Timah Nature Reserve
2) go for a swim in Sentosa Island, after which, u can also do some sightseeing as it is an island full of fun activities

for Hongkong, since u do not like to shop, try take their local transport to move around. i've been there few yrs back & i strongly suggest u go to Aberdeen. Hongkong has alot more to offer for u to see more things than in singapore. try get some tips from the internet about hongkong...afterall u can also visit China by boat only from Hongkong...(maybe u can visit Macau or Shenzhen..hei..there's alot to do there !)

sugget u take only 4 days in singapore & the rest in hongkong.

I did that on my travel in Asia.It takes about 6 hours from Singapore to KL.Sorry,i don't remember the price of the tickets. The visa isn't necessary, unless if you're from Nepal or Indonesia and you're looking for a settlement or job.If you are travelling as a tourist, you don't need visa. It is safe travelling alone in Malaysia cuz it's a serious country.

Then, I would suggest 7 days in HK and 4 days in Singapore... Can't tell you much about HK but in Singapore, we do have our tallest HIll ( Bt Timah Hill ) as well as Sungei Buloh nature reserve... Not forgeting Pulau Ubin where you can go to Chek Jawa....

4 days MAXIMUM in sg, 7 days in HK.. Travel to hk from sg on your 4th day in sg.. just nice...
Reason: You can finish touring SG in 3 days including nature walks in Bukit timah nature reserve/kranji bird santuary/macritchie reservoir/pulau ubin(highly recommended!), and perhaps you may want 1 more day to feel sg more...
As for HK, I have to admit there are really much more cool places for u to go, especially the outlying islands since u like nature... like sai kung, tai- o, lantau island...
