The sad part is..... no matter how much I've ever hoped that they dreamt of me too, I would never let them know that. Which means....... I never usually get to find out if my dreams ever come true.

Yes I have and there's times it seems like maybe it will happen. But how will you know? Most people are somewhat shy about saying what they dream about. Unless it involves Elmo chasing them. That's OK to talk about.
