According to our intelligence community Al Qaeda is regrouping and plotting and planning new attacks.
If that's true how difficult could it possibly be to infiltrate the areas they are in and get them?

Wasn't Iraq a sovereign nation before the U.S. invasion?
That had NOTHING to do with 9/11??

Don W: I know it wasn't set up to be handled efficiently or quickly by the Bush administration.....that's why I like Barack Obama!!
I really think he is NOT a part of the NWO/NAU/ One world government crowd!!
We really need to stop electing these people who want globalization!!

How interesting...you think that Al Qaeda recruits wear uniforms, and GITMO prisoners are innocent.

There are two reasons. First, according to news reports the Pakistani government will not tolerate or allow the US into their country to find Bin Laden. The Pakistani Prime-Minister said he would help Bush find Bin Laden and we all know how gullible Bush is.
Secondly, finding Bin Laden is not in the best interest of the US. Here's why: If the US went into Pakistan and found him and his leaders, then the Bush Administration would have an incredibly difficult time trying to convince the Congress that we need money to fight the war on terror and ask for money for Iraq. The sad truth is that Bin Laden is worth more to this administration alive than captured, which is why I like Obama too.
However, the terrain is quite mountainous and difficult and would pose certain logistical problems, but aside form that, there is no reason why we shouldn't go in and find him. After all we invaded Iraq for no reason, why should Pakistan be any different. I can't wait until Nov 2, 2008.

The region where Al-Qaeda is supposed to be hiding, is a mountain range, bordering the highest mountain range, the himalayas, situated between Afghanistan, Pakistan and China. It is a tribal belt having the most difficult terrain in world. When the britishers ruled India and Pakistan, even they couldnt establish their rule here, although this area was a part of he british empire. They only had a "political agent", sort of an ambassador to mark their presence. The local people are illiterate, tribal, just like the old western frontier of USA, still living in the 19th century. Pakistan, having a very professional army, is lossing lives of tens of soldiers daily in thi sregion while fighting terrorism. So, it is not that easy for any one to move into that area, uless of course u decide to wash it off the surface of earth, which no sane person, having a heart, would even think of, as the majority of local people are poor and innocent, shackled in the tribal system.

pakistan's president says that his gov is doing what it can to out the terrorists and does not want outside help. at the same time the intel suggests that the pakistani gov is inept to handle the terrorists and is actually letting em function in a remote area near the their border with afghanistan. the pakistani president says any attempt to enter their country will be viewed as invasion and could lead to war.

Kelly, it sounds simple, doesn't it. It's not. It's difficult terrain and a culture where one *must* hide a fugitive for the asking, particularly if you have more in common with him than his hunter.
It is a lot easier to find a "secret" camp if you have a contact that you will allow you to blindfold you and drive you for days (as do the terrorists). It's part of the indoctrination and could get you killed if you aren't a dedicated terrorist with people that can vouch for you.
Read my article "Hunting Bin Laden" to get a feel for the terrain. It's in my early articles.

The Saudis are doing just that. AlQaeda is quickly finding out that the border with Afghanistan is not the haven they thought it would be. They are constantly on the run from Saudi troops and finding it very difficult to organize in any meaningful attempt at regrouping.

It's not that difficult...You have to understand that it may not be in the best interest to solve the problem too quickly for those that stand to profit from this melee. It wasn't set up from the beginning to end quickly. Think about it

we DO find Al Qaeda camp grounds..everyday..
they're located all over the Middle East not just in Pakistani it'd be VERY hard to catch every single terrorist but the governments are gettin' closer to extinguishing them..the media just doesn't talk about it.

That's an easy one! It depends on who has the support of the local population. In this case the local population is saturated with militant islam.
