Who else got a good laugh from the Red Sox-Mariners game?

I know I did when I saw it on the news. The scene with the mascot (sorry, don't know the name) crashing into Coco Crisp gave me a good laugh (and I only say that because he wasn't hurt). I got another good one when the coach started yelling at an official about it.

When did that happen? Was it before the game or between innings? Also, what did the coach yell about? Did he think that the Mariners were trying to sabotage the Red Sox?

Well, maybe it's one of those things that you'll look back on one day and laugh. It reminds me of 2003, when Randall Simon hit the Italian Sausage on the head during the sausage race at a Brewers game. No one was hurt in that incident, though Simon was arrested and had to pay a small fine.

I think it was an honest mistake. Fortunately, Coco Crisp wasn't hurt and the people involved were actually very genteel about the whole thing. Apparently, Coco was really cool about it and played it off with humor.

I think the funniest thing about this story is that Red Sox manager Terry Francona missed the entire incident, because he was in the bathroom. D'oh! Don't you wonder if he came running out of the restroom with his fly unzipped, all worried this the Mariners mascot tried to kill his center fielder?

...and coach, if the Moose really did try to take out Crisp, you just send in Big Papi. In a one on one between the Moose and Big Papi, I know which one I'd be betting on, and it's not the one with the antlers and the fixed, unblinking stare - in the Mariner's uniform.

It happened in between innings. And the coach had every right to yell. The mascot hit their startnig center fielder with an ATV. I asked a question about this last night. Its ridiculous the the friggin Mariner Moose is driving an ATV around the field. What if he had hit Coco more straight on? Coco's season could have been over with a knee injury or something. It definatly is not funny.

Holy CRAP its official...Red Sox fans are the most retarded morons on the effing planet. You really think the Mariner Moose was trying to hit that over-rated loser COCO CRISP?!?! (by the way, what kind of a F*&%$#% name is that anyway?) I mean, the Moose is a MASCOT! He does crazy **** to entertain the fans, he has been driving the ATV for a long time.

Obviously, had Crisp been hurt it would have been a major bummer, but for what it was, it was HILARIOUS! Very, very funny, and I thought it was a riot.

Nothing funny about it. Maybe Wally the Green Monster should give that Moose a beating. Or better yet, maybe he should give Ichiro Suzuki a beating. And be serious for a second, you can't figure out why John Farrell was protesting? An idiot wearing a Moose suit was driving around a ball field. What does that have to do with baseball? Wally the Green Monster works the crowd before the game and between innings, but he does not drive a motor vehicle around while the players are loosening up. The Angels have the best idea, their stupid monkey exists in video only. Final warning to the Moose. Jonathan Papelbon likes hunting moose.

The Mariner Moose is the best mascot in baseball. He goes out of his way to help out the team. I mean he risked going to jail to try and take out Crisp, that's what I call taking one for the team!!!!

It happened between innings, he drives out now and then on his Moose Mobile (ATV) and drives around throwing out T-Shirts (and trying to hit "enemy" players), most years he is elected the favorite player by the local kids :)
