The story is a little distorted. The US sent a mission to a comet. A heavy coppper projectile was fired into the comet, blasting a hole in it and shooting debris into space for the ship to analyze. The comet was very large and was not destroyed, it just had a small hole in it. There was video around at the time. You might try the NASA web site.

the terrific technique of combating a collision, given sufficient time, is to by some ability push or pull the item hence changing its trajectory to omit us. "Blowing Up" an merchandise provides a myriad of problems. no remember if that's forged-iron, it does not be in all probability to basically be vaporized by means of something we've. no remember if that's loosely held at the same time pile of rocks and dirt, it could take up something we attempt to do to it. So, destroy isn't an determination particularly.

Please publish your facts, I don't personally think you have any. This never took place, that's why you can't find them.

If your speaking about the probe "deep impact" it's about the landing of a satellite on a comet for research, it's on any of the National Geographic or Discovery sites.
Your not starting up another rumor are you? like did we really land on the moon? that's what it sounds like.
