I agree with everyone who's said it's never too late!
I'm a 29 year old single mom with an eight year old son. I started college last year, and I couldn't be happier with my decision.
If you're unsure you could always go part-time, and take the general classes that you would need for most majors.
Good luck!

You're never too old to go to school. Life is a life-long process. In fact a few years ago, I admitted a lady in her 60's for medical school. I think rather than actually practicing medicine, she just wanted to learn about medicine. Also, when I was in college, my neighbor decided to go to college too. She was in her 40's when she started college and today, she's an RN at a major hospital.
Don't give up! Best wishes!

I have 60 year olds in my courses. It's never too late. In fact, you might even find that alot of the students look up to you for continuing your education at such a later age. Never let the younger students or the issue of age deter you from enrolling in college or finishing a degree if that is what you truly want to do. Best of luck.

Not at all!!!!! I think it is a good idea and this couldn't be a better time. The best time to go back to school is when you have decided it is time. Half of the students at the community college I attend are individual who have husband, children, and even pets! It is never too late to educate yourself. Are you considering changing career fields?

It's never to late to do that. Just pick a school and a program that will get you more than just a degree. Look for a school that has a program that employers think highly off. And get a degree in something you're truly interested in, and could do for a career (if you're looking for that). Then just do your very best. Good luck!

Not at all. It's never too late. You don't want to be sitting around when you're fifty wishing you had gone back to school. Go for it.
