I think this question is not specific and to be answered with a question.Do u mean what would i prefer?i think dat is best word to instead of 'suggest'. Now the answer- Sociology and psychology are are somehow related and both are very important.Psychology helps to understand Sociology well and sociology helps to solve psychological problems. So i personally like both.

Psychology doesn't pay next to nothing assuming you plan for graduate study.

I believe psychology is more useful than sociology. I'd suggest psychology.

I have a post-grad anthropology degree so I would say sociology. But I am actually really interested in psycho-analysis at the moment, and am teaching myself that. They do go hand in hand, as previously mentioned.

Both contain elements of subjectivity and objective facts (well, as provable as is really possible) yet the study of sociology allows for a focus on psychology, whereas it doesn't really apply in reverse. Psychology tends to limit itself to the study of the mind and not that which exists peripherally to the mind.

To study? Honestly, neither. I'm a Psych major, and I regret it. In fact I know most other grads have regretted it. It takes a special person to be in this type of field, and you have to be prepared to get paid next to nothing.

If you're talking about pure interest....then Psychology....it is a very interesting field of study.
