How does it know when your sources are posted or you used quotations?

I used aton of sources and quotes in my paper that are all cited...will I get a higher plagerism score for this??

One of my classmates this past semester got in alot of trouble from turnitin.com.
Most professors do not mind if you are using alot of quotes from different sources. The only thing that professor's start to get suspicious of plagerism is when you tend to use the same source over and over again or you take a big chunk from a text.

Not if they are short quotes. If you lifted large paragraphs from other works, then yes, it might indicate a problem, even if you cited the work.

It flags potential problems - up to the professor to sort it out.

it's not a perfect website, it may indicate that you did, but your teacher should know to look through it to see what you supposedly did wrong.

It's spelled plagiarism.
