Here's my liberal thought. Learning everything I can about issues like the pro's *and con's* of gun control in our country (as contrasted with Canada, where guns are equally legal and yet the crime rate is significantly lower), or about our health-care system (again, in contrast with much of the developed world), is good for me as a citizen. I need to make as educated a decision as possible on these topics, and if that means watching Moore and researching his claims to decide what's true and what's false, so be it.
Learning about whether or not Moore is a hypocrite is small-minded and silly. It is NOT an issue that could change our country, for better or worse. It's mainly a chance for people who don't agree with him to whine instead of debate.

I think this is called killing the messenger. Who cares whether you like Michael Moore or not? He made an interesting film about the problems with our health care system. I'd rather talk about that. Trashing Michael Moore is just an attempt to avoid the real issues.

My liberal thoughts?
That you conservatives care more about what the man thinks and says than I do. I think he has some points, but that is all. He is not "God", and I don't "worship" him at the alter of truth.
The only ones I see even mentioning Michael Moore on here are conservatives, telling me what he said, what he did, and so on. Obviously they have seen his work. Think that might be where he gets his money? Conservatives?????

The fact that the far right rails about him so much just means they're scared of him because millions of people go to see his movies, and it starts people thinking and talking. Well, not the closed-minded ones, but lots of other people.
It is a sign of a small mind to be unable to separate the message from the messenger. Just because you don't like him or Al Gore or your high school math teacher doesn't mean they don't have good information to disseminate.
Our health care system is neither Republican nor Democrat, and when you get sick or a family member needs surgery and your insurance company denies your claims, you will wish someone had improved the health care system we have. It is so bad now that it is bankrupting millions of people. This is not good for our economy, our country or our social well being. Think about it. THINK.

I seen this and I thought it was great! It's about time the fat slob gets exposed! These are all people who know him personally and people can check it out if they don't believe these people! I never understood how anyone would give this guy 2 seconds of our time!

Whatever.
And if you read the reviews, you might have noticed that even the HMO's concede many of the points that he makes....they just don't like stuff taken out of context.
If the HMO's agree to a point, what's your issue?

Liberals will be very serious here. If this was an expose of some well known individual with a conservative view, they'd be all over it, tongues out and saying "naa naa, I told you so.!"
