I wanna learn poker i know hearts and rummi and books and runs even a card game a cambodian taught me..katay..i dont know how to spell it... but I dont get to play because nobody wants to play cards anymore....does anyone else like playing cards?? Or are Desperado and I in for a long night by ourselves..... {which i wouldnt complain about..lol}

Our lights went out yesterday because of a thunderstorm and my daughter, my husband, and me played cards for about 3 hours until the lights came back on.
We stood our flashlights up on the table for light....it was fun.

Yeah I think it's really sad that card games on yahoo answers are reduced to yu-gi-oh which I didn't even know was popular anymore. And I have never personally played canasta, but from what I've heard about it it's not unheard of to go up to 2 hours. And if you love Real card games then I'd just like to point you to this website which has one of the largest card databases I know of. Love to. I play spades, rummy, hearts, poker(all types), canasta just to name a few. Grew up around gamblers

I'm not good at poker either...but I like a good game of rummy, canasta, skipbo or uno! If worst comes to worst..I'll even play a round or two of solitaire! lol ;o)
