You've got to be kidding me. This is your first question on Yahoo Answers and all you could think of to ask is "did Bonds ever juice up"?
Hey Genius, look at the question just before yours. Does that look familiar to you?

Now Bonds has broken the home run hit record, I tend to feel the steroid accusations sent out were done with aims of stopping Bonds from acheiving his goal. You can expect mud slinging to plop up when Bonds' home run record is broken.
If Bonds IS guilty of "juicing" up, he's tightly quiet about it--and grateful to have slipped "under the radar"; we'll never know for sure, I guess.

It has never been proven that Bonds uses steroids. How do you know Hank never juiced? Really…how do you know? I love Hank. He did great things for blacks in baseball, but neither I nor anyone of you can authoritatively state whether or not a player took performance enhancing drugs or not. Now or in the past. Steroids are not a new creation. They’ve been around for at least a century. We can’t vouch for any player’s purity. So end the hypocrisy – stop acting as if Bonds is the only player in baseball’s history to POSSIBLY have taken a performance enhancing drug.
“Red Juice” – a liquid amphetamine – made its way through club houses decades ago. Back in the 50’s and 60’s. Greenies as well (amphetamine pills). So performance enhancing drugs in baseball are not a new phenomenon. My point – some form of juicing has always existed in baseball. You have no idea who played “pure” and who didn’t. But don’t be hypocritical because Bonds is now in the spotlight.
To be honest this is simply an issue of Bonds personality and perhaps his skin color. Admittedly Bonds has never had the most beaming personality. So he doesn’t play to the media…that make him public enemy #1? And it’s so hilarious that no one was up in arms about steroids when Mark McGwire was sending balls deep every night in pursuit of the single season homerun record. I mean the guy looked like a Clydesdale out there swinging oak trees. And no one suspected? No one cared? No, they didn’t. Because Mark was a media magnet, he smiled, he laughed for the cameras, and he is white. Compare him to Bonds, and clearly McGwire is the more marketable one. And what about Clemens? He’s as much rapped up in steroid suspension as Bonds, but no one talks about that. But now he’s what…the savior of the Yankees? And he’s white too. But Bonds…he’s that jerk that everyone loves to hate. He surpassed the greatest icon in American sports (Ruth) on the homerun list (a white man too mind you). And Bond’s is black. He’s the perfect poster child (read fall guy) for steroids in baseball due to unproved allegations. Baseball is hanging Bonds out to dry instead of taking the blame for the spread of steroids through the league. Selig should hang his head low. If you’re going to attack steroids, then attack steroids. Don’t make it about one guy. That is of course unless you are making Bonds the fall guy.
Bottom line is if you’re going to point fingers at Bonds, be prepared to point fingers at every ball club in the league. Past and present.
The guy’s put in 20 years at the plate. He’s a power hitter. Let him have his record. And don’t judge him simply because he lacks a great personality.

Yes he did. It's his bank account that's juiced up. Everybody hating on Barry Guess what? Barry don't give a dam. His paycheck speaks for him and his family. Even the haters are paying their hard earned money to go to games to boo him. The crowd is there and the pay check rolls on. There has never been a positive test on Barry with Any type of stimulant.

Excellent response Maadams.
Maybe he did. As many other baseball players and professional athletes probably did too. (And likely still do) However, since is is black and does not bend over backwards to please the media, he is the poster-boy for steroids in baseball and the perfect punching bag mainstream Americans with double-standards.
Unfortunate to say, but this would not be such a huge deal if he was say......McGuire or Clemens. This type of thing is precisely why America still has such a long way to go.
Personally, I am tired of hearing about it. He did it just as fair and square as many athletes did it and still do it. And I for one, will never put an asterisk by his name, just like I would'nt put one by Wayne Gretzky's for gambling or many old time great baseball players for being bigots.

WE don't know and we probably never will. Despite what anyone in baseball (fans or players) think, Bonds deserves the title, granted it should be placed with an Asterisk by his name to note that it may be a tainted record. Let the record stand for a little while before A-Rod breaks it.

it hasn't been proven but it is a bit suspicious that he got HUGE over a few short months during the off-season early in his career. It is also interesting that his trainer who supplied Giambi with steroids is in prison and not confirming or denying Bond's use of steroids.

Bonds has been juicing since early in his career!
There is enough proof to indict him.
Notice how old he is and hour out of proportion his body is?
Steriods in the long term mess up your body!

How many players double their batting average in their late 30's. Even before and after photos show that something is off.

Duh..... Are you stupid? Of course he did, but those two drugs were legal!!!!! If a doctor prescribes them to you, they are legal to take.
MLB did not ban HGH and steroids back then, so he took them legally, and anyways, those drugs do not help you hit HR's or pitch a ball over 100 mph. It's not possible to enhance your baseball performance in that manner.
