OK, so Barney's as-of-yet-unheard-of brother is not only Black but also a homosexual who is gettng married and adopting a child. Predictably, all the straight people on the show "learned their lesson" about gay bars and how supposedly cool and respectful they are. Did anyone else feel lectured at?

I felt there were several messages going on and the only one I thought was funny was how the guys suddenly saw things from the girls point of view about being hit on. And, it was obviously their way of guest starring Wayne Brady; but surely they could have come up with a better storyline for such a talented person. A gay, black guy with a pending marriage and adoption and...they made him Barney's brother to boot! There was a little too much going on there for much humor to fit in. I understand your point and to me it just didn't mesh so I wasn't sure what they were trying to accomplish.

Since one of the stars of the show has come out of the closet, I feel this is right on time. It does reflect today's society and it is hella funny!

i like journey myself yet I thoroughly understand whilst somebody isn't a fan of their music. as an occasion I rather have heard somebody say that the music Separate approaches (worlds aside) is cheesy. i will work out the element even in spite of the undeniable fact that i like that music. yet whilst somebody have been to assert like the music do no longer provide up Believing is cheesy i does no longer purchase that bullsh*t for a 2nd it rather is a good music. I recommend even non followers of journey that i understand like that one music. i do no longer purely like the band gadget in any respect. yet they do have dissimilar musical know-how and abilities. although, i like the band Downset, a hardcore band with rap effective factors that are no longer so musically proficient yet they have MASS potential and in basic terms songs that groove. no,
I'm glad that they portrayed a gay person in a good light and not as a promiscuous drunk/drugging fool!
Most gay/lesbian people have a normal family life with kids and a home and jobs.
I'm a lesbian and I'm more of a homebody than most of my straight friends. And yes we do raise kids.

If you ask me, I think the show really should have been canceled quite a long while back.
