Don't people forget and forgive? I honestly think he should be ban from the NFL.

I don't think many of us could ever look at Michael Vick and not picture starved, tortured, abused dead dogs.

Yes, I believe his reputation is damaged forever, no matter what the verdict. The majority of the public is aware that there is another high profile athlete walking around free who murdered his wife and an innocent bystander. We don't need another OJ jury to tell us what to think.

However, barring another OJ jury, I do believe Michael Vick will be found guilty and have to serve time for his horrendous actions.

Forgive him? I think not. There are different levels of mistakes, and this thing he has done goes way beyond a 'mistake'. Stealing is a mistake, doing drugs is a mistake, buying a hooker the day of the superbowl is a mistake. What Michael Vick has done by participating in the misery and abuse of numerous dogs for his ENTERTAINMENT is beyond forgiveness. It shows the true nature of the man, and I for one would like to see him pay dearly for this.

Depends on the outcome of his trial. After all Kobe has survived his scandal. He maintained that he was not guilty from moment one, and he was never convicted. His reputation did take a hit as he still hasn't recovered his endorsment income, but with his contract he will survive.

However I have never heard Vick proclaim himself not guilty in a believable way. If he is found not guilty he may find a home on another team but never back in Atlanta. If he is guilty his NFL career is over, maybe able to play in Canada in 4-5 years. Either way, just like Kobe, he will never make the big endorsement dollars again.

Look at OJ Simpson, everyone still considers him a murderer. And Michael Irvin is still known for doing drugs. People, excuse me, the American media, does not forgive or forget. I think Vick should be banned also but who knows how long that will take to happen if ever.

Vick has had a sorry reputation for a long time, I don't believe he has ever had a good reputation.

Because he killed dogs. Personally i dont think its THAT bad. I believe its wrong, but i think people are blowing it out of proportion. You can kill chicken, cows, deer, alligators and other animals, but if you kill a dog you get in so much trouble. Personally i love dogs and would never intentionally hurt one, but to kill one while people kill so much other animals and not get in trouble for it in my opinion shouldnt be a crime
