my alarm has an audible beep anytime one of the doors is opened in the house. how do i disable that feature ?

Try #6 on the keypad.
This is what we use to disarm the beep when a door opens.

Intrusion control units have at least a means of switching from the day position to the set position. In the day position, there should be no audible signals as windows and doors are opened. or electronic sensors set off. It sounds as if your system is not doing that, or it is in the night, or set position.

Take a look at FBI burglar alarm on the Internet. A company there handles the product, and you can e-mail them.
