No. Except for about 2 answers out of 10000 those thumbs down were undeserved. That means they are from trolls that have some kind of grudge so I can't take them seriously.

if i gave an answer that i thought was really good or i really put some effort into it i hate getting the thumbs down but if its an answer that i know some people will not like it doesn't matter to me.

No, the option is there so people can show if they agree or disagree with the answer. It doesn't matter if it's right or wrong, it's just peoples opinions.

I usually don't mind, but it just bugs me when it's a random question like "What's your favorite color?" or "What's your favorite band?" How can you give a thumbs down answer for a question like that??

It annoys me when I know its because someone just disagrees with my well-written and polite answer... but in the end I don't guess it really matters

i hate it i always give thumbs up and for some reason people give me a thumbs down even when its a good answer :)
