Pro-choice but it should not be used as a substitute for birth control as some people do.

Pro-choice, but the current system is unfair. Granted, women are the ones carrying the child, but ideally, fathers share the burden/responsibility of the child once it's out. There is no easy solution to sharing the decision of abortion...so I know I will get the booos and thumbs down for this because it will sound harsh...but I think there should be a "veto rule"...if one person doesn't want the child, the baby should be aborted...what's the purpose of bringing an unwanted child into this world who will later suffer the consequences of having an absent mother/father? Both participated in making the baby, both should have a say in not wanting the baby.

It does not matter what I am. I have no rights to impose my views on a woman who must make a very difficult choice. But having said that I guess I am Pro-choice...

I'm pro-life for me, and pro-choice for everyone else.
Many cities already offer birth control for free through the city clinic or even through Planned Parenthood - plus, it's ANONYMOUS, so a young girl can take this step without her parents becoming involved if she so chooses.
I wish these options were known by more people, because I also think there are way too many abortions. Yeah, I'm pro-choice, but I also think there are many people (especially the very young) who need to be more responsible about the decisions they make.

Pro-life.I do not like the current system because it is all about profit and exploiting women.
You say you want to make the system more fair which is admirable. However, there is no system that is fair in which you are allowed to end human life.By fair do you mean men can force women to abort babies or fair in that only a mother is allowed to terminate the life of the fetus?

I am pro-choice in that a woman should have the option to have an abortion. Don't think that this is an easy decision for any woman to make. It's a difficult one, and women make this decision with "eyes wide open", knowing the emotional and physical consequences of abortion.
I think young women and men should be educated on pregnancy avoidance, and should know that "Plan B" is out there, if they find themselves having had sex, without using any form of birth control.
A woman can't pretend it's not going to happen to her; she has to take control of her life.
And it would be nice if a male contraceptive would go on the market, too.
