i have one i don't drive very much,and it sets for a month or two at a time and still stays charged up.so a good battery will hold its charge for a long time,it all depends on the car,and the battery,some cheaper battery's,hold up better now days then the real expensive ones do,good luck on it.

An older car without computers will last many months if the battery is good.
Newer cars with ECMs and other electronic equipment and computer modules will only last 2 to 3 weeks.

depends on how you store it, the type of battery, how much charge and acid where in it when you put it to sleep and the climate as well.
But typically you could pull it off of the shelf after 2 years and still have enough cranking amps to turn your engine over

My step dads jeep has sat since the middle of jusne and will still start. went out the other day to move it for the first time and it started fine.
