Toshiba, Sony, Acer, or Gateway?

from my experience (all the laptops i owned) here's the break down
dell = cheap laptops, customer service people are all out source.LAPTOP COME INSTALLED WITH ADWARE FROM DELL.
hp = cheap laptops, but quality vise it's better than dell and looks better, customer service people are all out source, LAPTOP COME INSTALLED WITH ADWARE FROM HP.
averatec= DO NOT BUY.
gateway= American built... doesn't even equal Dell or HP.. wouldn't recommend
acer= never used it, but from the looks of it they have awesome graphics card
Toshiba = cheap man version of SONY
SONY = expensive, business/preppy class, good customer service, wouldn't recommend it if your just gonna take a SONY to college, it's more for work and home since SONY's are targets for theft. LAPTOP COME INSTALLED WITH ADWARE FROM SONY.
IBM/Lenovo= expensive, business/preppy class, excellent customer service, the laptop feels sturdy and can last, my parents and friends both owned IBM's and their's lasted easily 4+ years. can be for school however i wouldn't advise taking it to college b/c an IBM is like gold to robbers. LAPTOP COME INSTALLED WITH ADWARE FROM IBM, HOWEVER ON IBM'S WEBSITE THERE'S A PROGRAM THAT YOU CAN DOWNLOAD THAT LETS YOU UNINSTALL ALL THE ADWARE THEY HAVE.
i personally like IBM, but form your choices i would recommend SONY.
might i ask what your planning on doing with your laptop?

i can not believe no person suggested Sony Vaio. ok cleansing soap container time. Sony Vaio is taken under consideration one of the wonderful desktops using fact the jap do no longer enable many engineering errors. look at Toyota, Honda, and different jap employer that has come to usa and purchased products. each employer has had an more desirable high quality point than made in usa does. Secondly, examine the workstation questions. There are only some that ***** a pair of Vaio difficulty. Thirdly, I very own one and could in no way purchase a dell or HP back. IMO a Vaio is on the comparable point that a Mac is on. the appropriate! I digress Have a large day.

From my point of view. I think that you should stick with Sony! Sony has always worked for me and some of my friends and its performance is excellent. Please don't go with Acer or Gateway because one of my friends had it and it literally broke down alot. Also their cheaper in price but iwouldn't count on Acer of Gateway. Toshiba is okay but abit out fashioned and late. So i would stick with Sony, its really good!

My opinion, better choose for the laptop that have good customer service after sale. Later if your laptop have a problem they will give 100% support for you. But customer service is different between country. Some others country is good for A brand laptop and some is not. Now, it's your decisions to get the best laptop.

I would go with Sony given only those 4 choices. But if I can suggest another brand, consider Fujitsu as well.

None ....I Like Macbooks Better and Macbook Pro ....Apple is a better company also !!! Good Luck With Your Choice !!!
