tell your mom, that you are a girl, with breasts, who needs a bra. Every girl will need a bra, and it is your time now. If she doesn't agree, buy one yourself, after a week tell her, and it is nt like she can take it away

If you're big enough to wear an actual bra size, not just a training bra, you DEFINATLY need one. Talk to your mom and tell her that they make those small bra sizes for a reason!! the idea is to go through almost every bra size, not skip the first few because you couldnt wear a bra until you were fifteen! Half the girls in my grade were wearing bras in fifth grade, it doesn't matter how old you are, it matters how fast you grew! If you don't have anything, they dont sweat it, but if you do, you need a bra!

Ur 13. U need a bra. Pronto. A woman; your mother of all people, should realize this. You could at least get a training bra or a tank top type bra. If this doesn't work, give a friend money to go out and get you a training bra to use at school or at gym...just so you don't feel so self concious.

You need to tell her that even though she may not think that you need a bra yet, you're a bit worried about changing for gym and you would like to get a sports bra for wearing on days that you have gym. If she still doesn't go for this, try to go out to a store and buy a tank top that has those built in bra shelfs in them - Wal-Mart sells them always for about $10. You could always just wear one of those under your shirt for the day and keep it on under your gym shirt as well.
Something to consider!
Good luck - just try to talk to her again about it...

Just talk to her, if you don't need a bra just ask her if you can have a sports bra/training bra because of gym class. There was a girl in my gym last year and she had the same issue and yes she did get made fun of. So best of luck to you, if you're mature enough it should be easy to have that sort of conversation with her.

Well, look at yourself. Do you really need one? If so, wait a bit and maybe talk to your mom once she's calmed down a bit.
If she still says no, or if you don't need one, but still want to be comfortable in gym class, buy a pretty camisole to make you feel more feminine. they're not a bra, and they will keep you from having embarrasing problems in gym.
Good Luck!!!

This is the age when girls begin to wear bras and sports bras. A sports bra would be the best option

camiz are perfectly fine.
they wont notice as long as you dont wear the same one over and over.
a sports bra is kind of like the built in bra kind off since its soo tight and strechy...just its an actually bra but like the built in bras.
talk for a while with your mom.maybe you really dont need a bra quite yet.

Ok, this is a time you need to disobey your parents. Go to the mall with a girlfriend and get one! I had a teacher who actually told us we have to wear one. Thirteen is a good age to get a bra. Good luck.
