....now that some of these defaulting subprime loans have come back to bit big companies on the behind.

(and how many of you are equally worried, if not more so, about the ensuing credit market crash that is coming because of this).

I am...and I have been saying for 3 years this nonsense was coming....but few people have listened.....and I think it's going to get worse....

It is nasty........with the under valued dollar our economy is not as good as our government lets on. Hell, the British Pound is worth twice as much as the dollar and with China under valuing it's own currency we are screwed. As you mentioned. Those subprime loans were a joke. If banks and realtors could not see that the housing bubble was about to burst than we are worse off than I thought..........and you are right. It is only going to get worse.

When I see no cars in the Wal-Mart parking lot then I'll be worried.

I would appreciate when stating facts of such magnitude, sources are included so we the readers can judge for ourselves the validity of such information. Otherwise it's just an opinion.

I hope not. Many people are already living paycheck to paycheck and having a hard time. If it happens, there's that upper crust that will always be fine and the poor masses will suffer.

I understand what you mean, it's why I stopped watching the news, it's so depressing and I find I'm happier now. I figure life is so short so why live it worried and depressed. Very legit concerns though, it's very scary.

in about ten years, it'll be safe to say the economy could collapse at any moment. it's bound to happen in the next 25 years... unless Ron Paul is elected...
