\Sounds like the bees are just after water. Maybe as a short term solution you could place some other water containers nearby. If they are honey bees it would be a shame to kill them. If they are the little wasps (some times called yellow jackets)
There are traps that are designed to trap them.
Try contacting your county Agricultural Center, or a local nursery, they carry a number of insect deterants.

try to find out where the bee's are coming from, if you can find the hive and provide water there, they will leave your pond alone , as long as they have fresh water, they will go to the nearest spot to get it, although it may take a week or two for them to change. you will still see a few bees around your pond

I know you are sad because someone got stung, but right now we are seeing a mass extinction of honey bees in this country, which we are dependant on for most of our food. If the honey bees die, we are going to need other bees to pollinate our plants, otherwise we will all die. Please do not exterminate the bees. Relax and enjoy nature at it's best. Next year you may not see bees again, or apples, or blueberries...

The bees are getting a drink! Gee Whiz! Put some water elsewhere........a wide pan and a stick or two as life rafts in case they get stuck.......then make the surface of your pond wavy to discourage bees........put in a pump and a small fountain....of course then the hummingbirds will come and take a bath.
