If you ever listened to him you would know that he makes a very sound argument. He is missing about 75% of the facts but the 25% he lets you have make him sound VERY convincing.

Take the recent mess in congress. From the information I could find from news what happened was the Democrat called the vote to a close before everyone got to the sides for yes and no. Wrong? Yes very. Democrats claimed the vote was 215-213, a failed bill. Republicans claimed 214-214. The ensuing chaos was greeted by a voice saying lets just get to the perspective sides and take a vote. Republicans walked out. Childish? Yes Very.

Now Rush, on his program, plays snippets and sound bites where so that it sounds like Democrats lost the vote and called for a re-vote. Very sound argument with audio to back it up.

Well, certainly there are some diehard Rushbaby's out there, but no, it is not a mental illness, its a mix of entertainment and news. His schoolkid global warming voice is pure gold btw. I enjoy listening every once in a while. He has good points.

It's really funny, but sad that anyone can actually believe anything he says.

It's not an addiction, it's a way for uneducated people to be told what to think because they can't come up with a thought of their own. Rush makes it intentionally stupid so that he can track his listeners, kind of like how whales are tagged in the ocean. Except whales are a lot smarter.

Maybe for some people, not me. I'll listen occasionally but when he starts talking about how wonderful he is or talking about subjects I don't care for (golf) I turn it off. Now Glenn Beck that's a different story! LOL

If I ever miss a day, I can down load it on my I-Pod. If you want to hear the truth, then go ahead and tune in. Don't be afraid to learn. It's a great way to stay informed.
