Yogi Berra. Best all-round catcher. Ivan Rodriguez is the best, but I'll wait for him to retire to say it. Bench played a lot at other positions and wasn't as good with a stick as Yogi or Pudge.

If you want hitting, it's Piazza or Bench. Pudge maybe for best defensive catcher.

Not Pudge, he's linked to steroids.
I'd say Bill Dickey, he's better than Yogi. Yogi was a good hitting catcher, but Piazza was the best hitting catcher.
