I'm not sure what you mean by "3 flashes." The OBD codes should flash the code 3 times for each code, plus "1-2" at beginning and end (or "1-2" to begin and "5-5" at end). I'm not sure how to read the codes on an Acura. A bad MAP sensor will prevent the car from running.

No guarenties here, but my wifes van sometimes has issues and won't stay running. STUPID COMPUTERS.

When I disconnect the NEGATIVE battery terminal for a couple minutes (to clear the computer codes) and hook it back up, it starts and runs fine afterward.

You might try that if you're stuck at home.
