Reagan was governor of California - that's all. No international experience at all. Why was he considered?
JFK was a senator from a very small state (very big family)
Bush - governor of Texas and a failure as a businessman. (might I add - approval rating currently in the sewer)
Bush, Sr. - Veep and head of the CIA.
Under the constitution, they all qualified to be President - so does Hillary Clinton.
Why should we have a woman in the white house - why not? She couldn't do a worse job that the current man is doing. She has been talking about health care for all for years - haven't you listened at all? She's a lawyer - like many other senators - and she's smart, very smart.
Having said all that - what politician can you trust completely? Each has been caught in a lie or "spin", if you will, at one time or another. Political spin is part of the game - George W. plays it all the time, or haven't you noticed?

I don't want a president who is steadfast in their beliefs, even if the circumstances change. That's why the Bush administration has been such a disaster, his inflexibility.
As for Hillary your opinion of her is biased and, based on what you've said, not really based on anything. If she gets elected she will have served nearly two terms as US senator. Other presidents have had similar credentials.

I know this might be difficult but, manage to put your hatred for Senator Clinton on hold for a minute. Stop listening to the "right wing: I hate Hillary shows" and think for yourself.

Although she is qualified and (America) is ready for a woman president. the rest of the world wouldn't respect her as a political figure. all opinions aside barack will gain new respect from many countries towards America. my prediction is we might lose some old friends if he is in office but we'll gain new ones..

I wondered the same thing about George W. Bush in 2000; I still wonder what the people who voted for him were smoking.

If you object to Hillary Clinton being President... don't vote for her. I know that sounds snide, but I'm tired of people complaining that anyone isn't "qualified" to run for President. The Constitution sets forth very specific requirements that any Presidential candidate must meet. She meets them. End of story. If you don't like the Constitution, then that's a far deeper problem than the existence of a candidate you don't like. You can voice your objection to her candidacy by not voting for her.

She's a strong woman. If she can't do the job no one can. I like her, Obama and Giovanni for president.

And George Bush was an admitted cocaine user and drunk who disappeared during his National Guard service and failed at every business venture he was ever involved in and had his father bailed him out each time, then he quit the job.
And he got elected twice.
