okay, before everyone goes worrying you about herpes, where exactly are these bumps. Are they in the vaginal area or just the groin area. If they are just in your groin area, I wouldn't worry too much. They probably are just acne or ingrown hairs, and that is common. If you don't shave in that area, you may want to begin atleast trimming the hair so that you can better clean yourself. Especially in the summer, you probably are sweating more than normal and having a lot of oil build up. If you are shaving, then keep an eye out for ingrown hairs. If you notice a bump forming put a little peroxide or alcohol on it until it goes away. This should eliminate them growing and filling with puss. Think about men and aftershave. It is somewhat preventative.
If these bumps are in the vaginal area, such as on the inside of you, you do want to see a doctor. This doesn't mean it is herpes, but you would want to figure out what is causing it.
Good luck

Probably an infected ingrown hair ( folliculitis) which can be caused by irritation, shaving the area, sweating., to name a few reasons.Do you have a fever, chills or sweats?? But, if these bumps keep re-appearing, then you should call your Doc to be sure that it isn't something else. You can apply heat to the bumps or while showering, let the water run over the area to open up the hair follicles. I hope that this helps..

Herpes is definitely one of those embarrassing and stressful anomalies that we all wish to avoid throughout our lives. Though, sometimes, we have no choice but to endure it. Bad luck I guess, and maybe even the result of the ONE time you decided not to use a condom. As was the case for me . For myself, I tried all kinds of different treatments and solutions, both prescription and over-the-counter. It seemed like nothing would work or give me any real results. The only thing that I seemed to experience was negative side effects and frustration. Plus, knowing I would have to use these treatments for the rest of my life didn't make things much better.
It wasn't until I checked online for alternative or natural remedies for herpes. Check here http://cure-herpes.keysolve.net
With the resources and knowledge provided, I was able to completely rid myself of the herpes condition. Not just treat it, but actually cure it. Best of all, it was done naturally- and the bumps/warts have not resurfaced since. So, I know how you feel. Herpes sucks, and sucks bad. It leaves you bitter about the one who gave it to you, and insecure about yourself, and the possibility of giving it to future partners. I understand the dilemma all too well. However, there are real solutions and options out there. I wish the best of luck to you, and a speedy recovery!

my sister [14] had a bump on her groin area and it was nothing but it could be 1) a lymph node which can lead to lymphobia[cancer] 2) i HIGHLY doubt its herpes, but if your sexually active, that might be the case, i doubt it though 3) if you shave your vaginal area sometimes you get bumps but not ones with pus.[personal experience, i know].
wait a 2-4 days and if they dont go away, tell your mom, she will know!
hope i helped, good luck!

They're probably ingrown hairs. If there is a larger bump or boil put a towel with hot, hot water on it. A good help is to use a body scrub on the area with hair. NOT right around your vagina! You wouldn't be happy if you did :-) Hope that helps.

They are ingrown hairs, you have nothing to worry about. Do you shave down there??? Whether you do or not, sometimes hairs get all twisted underneath the skin and that is what happens... if you do pop it, you will find a super long hair twisted under there... I know that sounds weird... but it is a natural girl thing. :)
