No, it was and continues to be a serious health concern.

Statistically, the world is OVER-due for another horrible pandemic.

The last ones were in the 50s and 60s.

It's really just a waiting game. A mutation will happen to some virus and zooooooom, it will be all over the place.

That is what the health community is truly worried about with the bird flu - that it will make that one little mutation and then zoom all over the place.

Not in Asian countries. There's news everyday about some chicken farm being vaccinated or mass killing of infected animals. Not a panic but a big issue for us. Many people live off poultry. A lose of income to them means the Ringgit value going down.
